This is an audio list of audio needed for my game level.
- low wind sound for atmosphere
- background sound (dogs barking/howling ect)
- walking audio
Importing my sounds in to audition I began the process of editing the sounds to use for my game level. the first sound is my walking audio, I begin by cutting the a small section of the audio to get rid of our voices at the start of the recording I then go through the audio to find any other background sounds to get edit them out I find another section that I need to silence since our voices come through the sound again after edit this I set the a hard limiter effect so that the level don't go into the red. I then raise the sounds output so that it can be heard more clearly in the unity level. I do the same thing to my other sounds add a hard limiter and rise or lower the sounds so they can be heard more clearly I also use the fade in and out tool on the Wind audio so there is a seamless entry and exit of the sound while I have it looping in the level.
Sadly after adding the sounds It seems that they don't come through as cleanly as I wanted while you can hear the wind and dog audio the walking has become very quite making it hard to hear and when I recorded my walkthrough with the program Fraps none of the sounds can be heard I did add the dog howling to the video to demonstrate where it would come in and what it sounds like but sadly I ran out of time to add the other sounds.
I will see about improving the sounds and seeing where I went wrong to make sure I don't make the same mistake again when making future games and levels for my games.
(this is all the sound I need for my level at the moment but will be updated if needed.)
