Another problem I had was with texturing the level I ether didn't have a texture I wanted or didn't apply it to the object correctly, an example would be the gate I created when I added the texture I used the UVM mapping to try and fit the texture to the archway of the gate and through you might not be able to see it there is a section where the texture gets blurred and stretched taking away from the rest of the model which looks alright I did try using the UV unrap to try and fix this problem but it just stretched the rest of the texture so I want back to the original way I textured it, maybe if I used the unrap differently I could have had the texture placed perfectly around the model. Something I didn't like was some of the textures I used like the bland concrete texture that I added to the buildings I had in the level, I was looking for a concrete texture that is like the classic half wood buildings of Germany like the picture below.
Other then my Textures I also wanted to make some more models for the world as I said at the top of the post. One model I wanted to make was a lamp to add some light to the world and make the shadows more defined and adding to the atmosphere of the level and making it seem like that character is a thief in a dark and dangerous city I'd have to use a spotlight pointing down and widen it's parameters so it lights up a small area around it to simulate the light coming from the lamp.
The buildings that populate the level are two buildings and my barracks that I have ether moved or reshaped to look different I'd like to make a couple more to make it seem less bland. But I still am happy with the buildings because if you look at the buildings like the one above or in London 1800's most of the buildings are the same building so I'm happy with what I have.
There is stuff that I need to improve to make the game look at good as possible but with what I have I'm still happy with what I produced but I will make improvements to the level after I submit it adding some models for the environment and improve the textures so I can produce a better game level for next time I have to create one.
